Message from
Outgoing President Michelle Ochweri
As I reflect back on the past couple of
years I’m completely proud and optimistic that as an affiliate
we are heading in a positive direction to support procurement
professionals in our area. This is something we should be proud
of as leaders of this organization because without the
involvement that each of you have given we could not have this
success.
Editor's Note: Michelle has done a great job of leading our management team for the last few years. I really appreciate her time, effort and enthusiasm. Take a look at our photo gallery and you'll find Michelle actively involved, including photos of Michelle receiving an ISM National Award. http://www.ismcb.org/images/gallery.htm Thanks Michelle! |

IMO (in
my opinion....): Mike Taylor, C.P.M.
A very timely GAO report that ties directly to some of the topics we discussed
at the May 12 dinner program.
Bottom Line: As we discussed, there are risks in adopting new technologies. We can help our organizations mitigate those technology risks when we write contracts and purchase orders. We'll talk more about this subject at the Pacific Northwest Purchasing Conference in Portland - (see below) |
